M. Night Shyamalan rejects any standard film and leaves the thriller-horror ambience (the sixth sense ) and hazards a fable set in the backyard.
The director demonstrates once again able to combine the fantastic with the poetically mystical in a very original plot as evidence of his creative artistic genius. Shyamalan, you are our messiah destined!
The film divides into two: on one hand the supporters of Little Prince, the other all the others who find the film simplistic, boring and tiring. The latter, however, even if we judge the characters stereotypical, sterile, flat and banal, will appreciate the fine performances of the always excellent Paul Giamatti and Bryce Dallas Howard , physically and artistically perfect in the role of Narf, the nymph of the world blue.
A film for those who can still boast genuine taste and appreciate the simple things ...
