Mariarina Dagnino: "The water must remain public"

I take inspiration article published on the website of the "Newspaper of Varazze" entitled "Ordinary People collect 4191 votes against the ATO" to point and say the following. On March 22

us took off in Italy throughout the campaign to gather signatures that will allow the holding of the referendum to repeal those provisions which effectively allow the privatization of water.
The risk that large corporations take advantage of these provisions is evident as are the consequences that may result starting with rising costs. To prevent this from happening is being promoted a referendum campaign which joined many institutions, associations and personalities of public importance.

In our area the support and availability has also covered the civil lists of "Citizens for Varazze" - "Ordinary People" - "To Varazze" (as quoted in the alphabetical order) who have willingness to participate in Principals collection through their town councilors authorized by law to authenticate the signatures.
's so that Saturday 24 and Sunday, April 25 in the presence of Councillors Bozzano (Saturday morning) - Dagnino (Saturday afternoon) - Vallerga (Sunday afternoon) - have been collected 489 signatures in Varazze which, when added to other endorsed in the Province of Savona, allowed to increase to nearly 4191.

The collection will continue for three months and certainly will be organized to other principals. It's up to everyone, without distinction, commit ourselves to raise as many people as possible so that by their signature to indicate clearly to those who govern us that water is a common good and therefore must be PUBLIC.
does not matter if we are better than others to gather signatures. What should concern us is what we will be able to make citizens understand the importance of this initiative.
