The script seems to have drawn inspiration in part from the story of Pocahontas and in part from the movie Conan the Barbarian .
The dark atmosphere and the ferocity of the looting Vikings are appreciable but the film lacks a final height ... The violence of the film requires a cathartic ending, but the happy-end ruin everything!
